This is one of the most viewed film portraits in the Soul Biographies Collection. Perhaps because of its title, most probably because of Olu. The camera appears to have captured the very experience of gratitude between its frames.
I wrote the film’s third question as I wondered how and why Olu was as she is, despite circumstance that would have you imagine otherwise. I omitted this circumstance from the film by design, as drama is seldom useful.
Later it dawned on me what an unfairly deep and profound question it is. I am left wondering about the interior and exterior world.
